PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary cap preventing falling of hair etc., from insertion holes without reducing the size of the insertion holes for inserting temples of eyeglasses. SOLUTION: The sanitary cap is equipped with a hat body 1 for covering hair and both ears of a wearer. The sanitary cap is provided with the inserting holes 4 for inserting the temples 9 of the eyeglasses on both right and left sides of the head covering both the ears of the hat body 1. The sanitary cap is composed as follows: Flaps 10 closing the inserting holes 4 from the rear side of the hat body 1 and engaging means 13 for engaging the flaps 10 in such a state thereof as to close the inserting holes 4 inserting the temples 9 of the eyeglasses with the hat body 1 are installed.
