PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine which can perform good operation of sterling refrigerator by emitting heat generated inside a control box to outside. SOLUTION: The vending machine includes; a sterling refrigerator 20; a control box 24 which contains an apparatus 23 for controlling driving of the sterling refrigerator 20; and a cooling apparatus 30 which cools air inside a heat insulation container 35 which locates at a position isolated a prescribed distance from the sterling refrigerator 20 by using cold energy generated by the sterling refrigerator 20, and cools an article held in article accommodation storages 4a, 4b and 4c by using air cooled by the cooling apparatus 30 by circulating air between the heat insulation container 35 and the article accommodation storages 4a, 4b and 4c of a main part cabinet 1. The vending machine is made to pass outside air inside the control box 24 by using a slit 25 and a vent hole 26 formed in the control box 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
