The medical record system uses a memory module, carried by the patient, holding and displaying essential medical data such as blood group, vaccination records etc. This may be read by any medical practitioner who may treat the patient, and may be updated by connection to a keyboard module used by the doctor. The minimal medical data card comprises a memory card which is held by the patient, with a digital screen for the display of text. The card holds the initials, name and forename; date of birth; identity card number; date of use; blood group; pathologies; treatments; allergies and vaccinations. An alphanumeric keyboard is kept by the medical practitioner, and this may be connected by an infrared port or a cable to the patient memory module.
