PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reinforce rigidity of a bend part of a front pillar of a convertible wherein an inner panel and an outer panel form a closed cross section and wherein the pillar is bent into a V-shape in a part between a lower part of the pillar stood nearly vertical along the side surface of a car body and an upper part of the pillar bent from the upper end thereof and inclined backward obliquely upward. SOLUTION: An upper end bend part 11 is formed in the upper end of a lower inner panel 1a structuring a lower side of the pillar of the inner panel 1, and on the other hand, a lower end bend part 14 corresponding to the upper end bend part 11 is formed in a lower end of an upper inner panel 1b structuring an upper side of the pillar of the inner panel 1. The lower inner panel 1a and the upper inner panel 1b are coupled to each other by overlapping the upper end bend part 11 with the lower end bend part 14, and a reinforcement 2 is overlapped with the overlap part of both the bend parts 11 and 14 for coupling.
