The device has clamping jaws (2.1-2.4) that are radially and axially fixed, and engaged at a circumference of a component (8) e.g. crown wheel, for clamping. The jaws are radially arranged at a base plate (1), and contain a pair of pressure rollers accommodated between convergent edge surfaces (9.1) of the component. The jaws have parallel individual rollers (7.1) supported rotatably around a rotational axis (R) that runs transverse to a delivery direction in a delivery plane of the jaws.
