A method and aids for the relative positioning of 3D objects, in a comple x environment involving several involving several techniques, according to a set of geometrical and/or mathematical constraints are disclosed. According to the invention, a parametric model is selected for each of the objects (1 000), parametric models comprising models of the constraints are also select ed (1025).
