PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a droplet jet apparatus in which thickness of an adhesive layer interposed between a head unit and a reinforcing plate can be correctly obtained, and to achieve an inspection method. SOLUTION: A measurement window 38r is bored on a nozzle face 38p. A space S1 is formed penetrating from the measurement window 38r to a part where the reinforcing plate 60 and a non adhesion region 2a are in contact with each other. A first distance D1 from the nozzle face 38p to the part is measured. A distance D2 from the nozzle face 38p to the bottom face of a projection 31b of a cavity plate 31 is measured. A second distance (D2+D3) with thickness D3 of the cavity plate 31 added to the distance D2 is determined. The thickness D4 f the adhesive layer 2 is obtained by subtracting the second distance (D2+D3) from the first distance D1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
