PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for casting a lead electrolytic anode having a fixed weight and excellent in verticalness in a casting process for an anode used for a lead electrolytic refining. SOLUTION: In the casting process of the anode 12 used for the lead electrolytic refining, the casting quantity of the molten metal 11 is obtained by measuring the level of the molten metal 11 of a crude lead 10 cast into an anode mold 4, the casting quantity of the crude lead 10 becoming the anode 12 cast into the anode mold 4 is adjusted, and the surface temperature of the anode 12 in the anode mold 4 is measured also after a cooling process is finished after casting, and cooling water quantities for the anode 12 in the anode mold 4 and the anode mold 4 are adjusted according to the change of the measured surface temperature, .
