PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door opening/closing mechanism which comprises a hinge device composed of a door-side hinge provided on a door, a body-side hinge provided on a body and a hinge pin for being inserted through the door-side and body-side hinges, and a check device provided with a check body (case) fixed on either of a door side and a body one and a shaft connected to the hinge pin, which transfers the turning of the door via the hinge pin to the shaft, and which enables the check device to be provided with respect to the hinge device so that the axis of the hinge pin of the hinge device can be positioned in line with that of the shaft of the check device. SOLUTION: This door opening/closing mechanism is provided with a positioning means for performing the positioning, on a two-dimensional plane, of the case (check body) 53 of the check device 51 with respect to the hinge (door-side hinge 13) on the side of the provision of the check device 51.
