PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus capable of having both tracking resistance and impact resistance, at the same time, at a fixed-side socket. SOLUTION: The socket body 4 to constitute the outer profile of a fixed side socket 1b is made of thermoplastic resin. Thereby, compared with the case in which the socket body 4 is made of thermosetting resin, size reduction becomes possible and impact resistance is improved. Furthermore, a connecting member 5, which is supported by the socket body 4 and constitutes a connecting recessed portion 10 to be in close contact with a contactor of charging part, is made of the thermosetting resin. Thus, compared with the case in which the connecting recessed portion 10 is constituted of the socket body 4 without using the connecting member 5, the socket body 4 is made of the thermoplastic resin, and tracking resistance is improved.
