Disclosed is a water-cooled barbecue system which prevents overheating of the interior thereof and a grill and also prevents leakage of water from th e appliance when the operation thereof is stopped. A burner is received with in the main body of the barbecue system, a grill is disposed on the upper pa rt of the main body, and water circulates in the interior of the grill. A ch eck valve is included in a liquid pipe through which water flows in, and a c ooling system for cooling water is included in the barbecue system. The burn er has a solenoid gas valve, and a bimetal switch for cutting off power of t he solenoid gas valve is included in the interior of the main body when a pr edetermined temperature is sensed. A fan for introducing outer air to the in terior of the main body is included on the exterior of the main body, and th e bimetal switch is included in a control panel part of the interior of the main body, which supplies power to the fan when a predetermined temperature is sensed. A thermal sensor is mounted on a liquid pipe through which water flows out from the grill, and a micom is included at the main body, which re ceives data from the thermal sensor so as to output a control signal to the cooling system and the solenoid gas valve. Accordingly, overheating of the i nterior of the barbecue system is prevented even if the barbecue grill is us ed for a long time in an airtight state, the temperature of the water is kep t within a predetermined range, and it is possible to prevent water from lea king when the operation of the barbecue grill is stopped.
