PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promptly check identity between data recorded in a copy source recording medium and data recorded in a copy destination recording medium. SOLUTION: When digital data are copied from a copy source hard disk driving device 6M (hereinafter, referred to as a copy source HD) to a copy destination hard disk driving device 6T1 (hereinafter, referred to as a copy destination HD), data outputted from the copy source HD 6M to a bus line 20 is written to the copy destination 6T1, and a hash value is calculated by an operation part 31 of a control means 3T2 connected to the same bus line 20.
