PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method of pyrolysis furnace tubes capable of shortening the number of days required for inspection. SOLUTION: When assembling the pyrolysis furnace tubes 100' by constituting a header tube 200A through mutual welding of each single tube 200A' for a header of a plurality of tube blocks 200, both end openings of the single tube 200A' for the header of the tube block 200 are closed by the first test tool 400, and the air is supplied into the single tube for the header, and the quality of the tube block is inspected from the fluctuations of the air pressure. The second test tool 500 is inserted into the header tube 200A of the pyrolysis furnace tubes 100', and two sealing members 500G are positioned on both sides of a welding portion W of the single tube for the header; the sealing members are enlarged by an operation mechanism and seals the interval between a cylinder body and the header tube inner surface; and the air is supplied between the cylinder body and the header tube, and the quality of the pyrolysis furnace tube is inspected from the fluctuations of the air pressure.
