<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method, of a thermal transfer image receiving sheet, which can apply a plurality of coating liquids as they are in the state of a laminar flow by restraining the generation of a turbulence, in applying the coating liquid to a base sheet by a slide coating process. <P>SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of a thermal transfer image receiving sheet comprises a simultaneous multi-layered forming process to simultaneously form an undercoat layer for upgrading adhesion with the base sheet, a porous layer for imparting heat insulating properties and a primer layer for forming a receptive layer, on the base sheet in that order by the slide coating process. In addition, the viscosity and surface tension of an aqueous coating liquid for forming the undercoat layer to form the undercoat layer, an aqueous coating liquid for forming the porous layer to form the porous layer and an aqueous coating liquid for forming the primer layer to form the primer layer, are set within a specified range. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
