The invention relates to a bracket formed by two flanges (1), a central g roove (2) and two outer inverted-L-shaped grooves comprising an occlusal gro ove (3) and a gingival groove (4) located between the base and the body of t he bracket, with a rounded surface (5) which contacts with the wire, which a re used to adjust the height of the wire weave and create spaces on either s ide of the badly positioned tooth. In addition, the invention includes a sec ondary extrusion notch (6) and a secondary intrusion notch (7) on the base o f the bracket. The invention also relates to an woven-wire-based alignment m ethod performed using: one or more brackets which are always placed on the s ide opposite that normally used and on the badly positioned tooth; and a sin gle wire which is secured on the well-positioned teeth using the brackets an d which is passed between the teeth below the contact point, using the labio -lingual interdental weaving technique or vice versa, such as to produce an opening stress on both sides of the badly positioned tooth, in order to impr ove the cosmetic appearance of the patient's buccofacial region and bite.</S DOAB>
