PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater shoe capable of preventing the coming-off of a shoe from a foot by having a high adhesion to the foot, while facilitating its putting-on/taking-off and having a superior floor-face gripping property. SOLUTION: This underwater shoe is provided with a shoe body material extending from the tip covering tiptoes to a position surrounding the ankle, and a sole material; the sole material integrally fixed to the outer face of a sole part of the shoe body material is formed of an elastic material having elasticity and having at least a roughened grounding face in the back side; the shoe body material is formed of a rubber material having flexibility; the tip side wrapping the toes is formed into a Tabi-like shape divided into a thumb insertion part and the rest 4-finger insertion part; the outer edge of the sole material is raised to cover the lower edge of the shoe body material; and a foot front-side central part of a cylindrical part surrounding the ankle of the shoe body material is formed with an opening/closing part for a wearing opening, and a closing means for the opening/closing part.
