REFLECTION TYPE ILLUMINATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve heat releasing performance of a reflection type illuminator using an LED 5 and to achieve the heat releasing performance without a complicating the structure.

SOLUTION: There are provided: a reflection surface 21 with a concave shape; a heat pipe 3 protruding from a part of the reflection surface 21; a light-shielding member 4 having good thermal conductivity and attached to an end portion of the heat pipe 3; the LED 5 attached to light-shielding member 4 and ejecting light toward the reflective surface 21; and a heat dissipation member 6 attached to a back side of the reflective surface 21 and thermally connected to a base end portion of the heat pipe 3.
