<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food product processed to have properties suitable for eating an edible portions of fruits, vegetables or the like which have been conventionally discarded, to provide a food product obtained by processing generally eatable fruits or vegetables to give any other texture, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The food product is prepared by processing edible portions 25 such as leaves, barks or cores of general fruits or vegetables or their waste foods into uniform fine granules 25b of several millimeter square.
