PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated wire which has an insulated coating film that is superior in adhesiveness to a conductor and superior in work resistance and which is hardly damaged by a press working or a scratch working. SOLUTION: The insulated wire is composed of the conductor and the insulated coating film that covers the conductor, in which the insulated coating film has at least two layers of insulated layers of a first layer to cover the conductor and a second layer to cover the first layer, in which the first layer is composed of a resin film having the fracture elongation of 60% or more, and the second layer is composed of a poly-amide-imide resin film which is a condensed product of acid component and di-isocyanate component having 10 to 80 mol% of aromatic based di-isocyanate compound expressed by a general formula (1) (in the formula, R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>may be the same or different, and express hydrogen atom, alkyl group, alkoxy group, or halogen atom, while m and n may be the same or different, and express numbers of 1 to 4).
