<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which gives little thermal historical deterioration to regenerated resin particles by recovering a volume-reducing agent from the volume-reduced product of a used expanded polystyrene and impregnating a foaming agent thereto simultaneously at room temperature, and also enables the foaming agent extracted with the volume-reducing agent to be recycled through separation and recovery of the foaming agent and the volume-reducing agent using a distillation process. <P>SOLUTION: After the volume-reduced product prepared by dissolving the used expanded polystyrene into the volume-reducing agent is fed into a reserved impregnation tank 21, a foaming agent of an easily volatile hydrocarbon is added thereto extracting the volume-reducing agent from the volume-reduced product and impregnating the foaming agent thereto simultaneously by agitating and blending them, then the volume-reduced product is moved to the place of a pulverizing device 31 using a supply pump for high viscosity 23 pulverizing it to particles with the device, the particles are fed into a main impregnation tank 41 and after the volume-reducing agent contained in the particles is further extracted with the foaming agent they are moved to the place of a dryer 51 using a circulation pump 43 to remove the foaming agent sticking onto the surfaces of the particles. The foaming agent which extracts the volume-reducing agent in the reserved impregnation tank is charged to a batch-system small size distillation tower 62 to separate and to recover the foaming agent and the volume-reducing agent trough distillation separation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
