An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to prevent movement of a light guide plate caused by impact by changing a side wall structure of a bottom chassis, thereby preventing damage of a lamp. An LCD panel(102) implements images. A backlight assembly provides light to the LCD panel. A mold frame(114) receives the LCD panel and the backlight assembly. In a side of the mold frame, fixing holes(162) are formed. A bottom chassis(108) receives the mold frame. In one side of the bottom chassis, plural fixing protrusion units(160) inserted into the fixing hole are formed. The backlight assembly comprises a lamp(120), a lamp cover(118), a light guide plate(124), and optical sheets(136). The light guide plate has a fixing groove(164) formed in a location corresponding to the fixing protrusion unit. |
