PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the fitting property of an absorbing pad to a user's body. SOLUTION: The paper diaper comprises an exterior body 20 formed to cover from the lower abdomen to the hips via the crotch region of the user; an opening part 30 communicating inward/outward disposed in a prescribed area in the front/rear directions along the center in the cross direction of the exterior body 20; the absorbing pad 50 to be attached to the inner surface or outer surface of the exterior body 20 to cover the whole opening part 30; a pad fixing tape 41 disposed on both sides in the cross direction on the outer surface of the exterior body 20 to be detachably jointed to a front side part 54 on the outer surface of the absorbing pad 50; and a pad fixing tape 42 to be detachably jointed to a rear side part 55 on the outer surface of the absorbing pad 50.
