<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-help supporting structure which supports a transfer to a floor including rising from a bed and has fewer possibilities of misoperation. <P>SOLUTION: The self-help supporting structure 11 for supporting the transfer of a user 12 from the bed 13 comprises a base body 16 arranged longitudinally on the bed 13 and a moving main body 17 which is movable longitudinally on the base body 16. A supporting post 20 is attached to a corner part of a top plate 18 of the moving main body 17 to penetrate vertically, and a handrail 21 is fixed on a side wall of the supporting post 20. A guide plate 26 is formed along one side in the longitudinal direction of the base body 16, and a rack 27 is movably attached to the guide plate 26. When the moving main body 17 is moved longitudinally on the base body 16, a control mechanism inside the moving main body 17 engages the rack 27, and consequently, the supporting post 20 rotates in a prescribed direction. With the rotations of the supporting post 20, the handrail 21 rotates about the supporting post 20 horizontally, and the handrail 21 moves to a desired position depending on the transferring posture of the user 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
