The device (1) has a blind (1a) with a side guidance, which extends along longitudinal edges of the blind, where the blind device is designed such that the device can be fixable at a frame (6) of doors and windows. The side guidance can be engaged in a guidance (5) and can be rolled up together with the blind. The guidance is designed as a strand press profile and is fixable at the frame. A holding device (4) is provided for holding and mounting of the blind.
