<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traction therapy device reducing the operation load on the inflation/deflation of air bags and setting the air pressure of the air bags, and reducing the load applied to the waist region of a person to be treated caused by the constriction by the air bags. <P>SOLUTION: The traction therapy device comprises a traction driving part for reciprocating a stool part 5 in the directions of approach/separation to/from a backrest part 6; a waist orthosis 17 with the air bags 18 and 28 disposed in the stool part 5 to be attached to the waist region of the person to be treated; and an air pressure control part for controlling the inflation/deflation of the air bags 18 and 18 by increasing/reducing the air pressure inside the air bags 18 and 18. The air pressure control part controls the air bags 18 to automatically inflate in response to the traction starting motion by the traction driving part and to automatically deflate in response to the traction terminating motion by the traction driving part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
