<p>An apparatus for providing multi-screens and a method for configuring the multi-screens dynamically are provided to enable a digital signal processing module to receive video, audio, or data information and restore a service connected with the received information, enable a service processing module to generate logical screens, and enable an output module to arrange the logical screens on an output screen, thereby configuring and providing various contents on a display screen in various methods. A screen property information setting module sets the screen property information of a screen. The screen property information includes one of the display type of the screen, the arrangement type of the screen, and correlation between the screen and output ports. A screen provision apparatus(900) includes a digital signal processing module(940), a service processing module(950), an output module(960), a user/application interface module(965), a broadcasting signal receiving module(910), storage mediums(920,980), an external input module(930), a display screen(970) and an external output module(990). The service processing module manages the setting operation of the screen property information to display a received service on the screen and manages the reproduction environment of the service. The digital signal processing module receives various kinds of information such as video information, audio information and data information, and restores a service by using received service components. In addition, a service can be restored according to the selection of user or application through the user/application interface module.</p> |
