An ink circulation system, an ink-jet recording apparatus and an ink circulation method are provided to circulate ink easily and to remove bubbles accumulated in a filter effectively by dividing a head assembly into a first and a second liquid chamber. An ink circulation system comprises an ink tank(300), a head assembly(200), a supply passage(410), a first flow passage(420), a second flow passage(430) and a pump(500). The ink tank has an ink outlet and an ink inlet. The head assembly has a filter(230) and a head chip(240) for discharging ink. The first flow passage moves the ink in the ink tank to the head assembly. The second flow passage allows the ink at filter upstream inside the head assembly to flow to the ink tank. The pump is arranged in the ink inlet of the ink tank, and provides negative pressure for circulating the ink with respect to the first and second flow passages.
