METHOD FOR STRUCTURE FOR AN ENGINE OF A LARGE SHIP

A method for processing a structure for an engine for a large ship is provided to employ a set-up fixture member such that a bed plate is vertically installed when processing a frame box. A bed plate(120) is set in a first table(211) of a horizontal boring machine(210) such that a bottom surface(121) of the bed plate is vertical to the ground. A block is inserted into a cylinder of the bed plate in order to prevent the bed plate from sagging. The bed plate is subject to a face milling process or a hole forming process by using the horizontal boring machine. The bed plate is rotated by using a moving unit, so that the bottom surface of the bed plate faces to the second table of a planer miller. All surfaces of the bed plate are processed by using the planer miller except for the bottom surface of the bed plate.
