PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the labor of a worker and reduce manufacturing cost by enabling inspection of a printing function not requiring actual printing without loading paper on an image forming device in a pseudo-paper loading device. SOLUTION: This pseudo-paper loading device 1 comprises an integrating circuit so connected to an image forming device 2 that a PWM signal is input from the image forming device 2 and integrating the input PWM signal; and a semi-fixed resistor 12 outputting the electric signal output from the integrating circuit 11 as the signal (pseudo-output signal) changed to the voltage of the same level as the output signal output from a paper detection signal when a predetermined type of paper is detected by the paper detection sensor of the image forming device 2. The semi-fixed resistor 12 has a voltage operation part 13 capable of varying the voltage of the pseudo-output signal to the same level as the signal corresponding to various paper when operated by the user.
