<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a follow-up speed control device and follow-up speed control method of a self-propelled cart, which expands an adjustment range of a follow-up speed in a constant speed stage. <P>SOLUTION: The follow-up speed control device is structured such that, when a leading cart advances, a limit switch 22 detects forward movement of an operation command member 4, and a traveling clutch control part 6 operates a clutch to start follow-up travel. When a moving distance of a transmission control wire 23 operatively connected with the operation command member 4 from the start of the follow-up travel, is a value from zero to L1, only a belt type continuously variable transmission 7 is operated to adjust a follow-up speed of the self-propelled cart; the operation command member 4 is operatively connected with an accelerator device control wire 29 from the time the moving distance of the operation command member is L1; and when the moving distance of the operation command member 4 is a value from L1 to (L1+L2), an accelerator device 8 is operated in addition to the belt type continuously variable transmission 7 to adjust the follow-up speed of the self-propelled cart. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
