<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workflow management system smoothly processing account settlement work and promoting examination. <P>SOLUTION: An applicant registers documents in application document units, and the registered documents are indicated in a column 152 of application document units. The applicant specifies MUST or MAY for examiners requested to examine in a table 112 representing the examination priority of the registered documents to set corresponding priority. In the table 112 representing the examination document priority, the management entry MUST is a compulsory request that "to be examined without fail", and MAY is a noncompulsory request that "to be examined if possible".
