<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming apparatus which can easily reproduce a paper even when any sheet of the paper printed over a plurality of pages is lost. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit 2 which prints an image on the basis of printing data to the paper with a non-contact type tag 80 installed therein, and an IC writer 81 which makes tag data stored in the non-contact type tag 80. Printing data for every one sheet of the paper W is formed from a printing file which requires a plurality of the sheets of paper W for printing, and at the same time file data composed of the printing file is made the tag data (S120-S160). The image forming unit 2 is controlled to print to the paper W on the basis of the printing data for every one sheet of paper W. Also the IC writer 81 is controlled to store the tag data into each of the non-contact type tags 80 of at least a plurality of the sheets of printed paper W.
