摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hardly allow occurrence of unevenness in density and fluctuation of dot shape even if a minute droplet is deposited. SOLUTION: In the recording device, a recording section 112 has two or more recording elements different in dot type to be recorded from each other. A dot pattern storage section 122 stores therein beforehand a plurality of dot patterns indicative of dot arrangement locations by main droplets in association with individual gradations. When one of the dot patterns, corresponding to a gradation value of each pixel of recorded data, is selected from the dot pattern storage section 122 and developed in a deposited droplet data buffer 118, if a sum of the number of dots by the main droplet and the number of dots by the sub-droplet is equal to or less than a maximum number of dots of the dot pattern, corresponding to a maximum value of the gradation value, a dot pattern selecting section 124 selects at least a dot pattern in which dot locations of the main droplet do not conform to each other between recording elements different in type and in which a dot location of the main droplet and a dot location of the sub-droplet do not conform to each other between the recording elements different in type.
