PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rigid-frame viaduct construction method capable of shortening construction period, reducing human labor required, allowing selection of the shape of precast members and being adapted to any construction conditions. SOLUTION: The rigid-frame viaduct construction method comprises the steps of constructing precast pillars on both sides of a traffic base course, constructing a precast beam on the precast pillars and further constructing a precast slab on the precast beam to place a traffic base course in service.
