A broadcasting terminal and a broadcasting channel notification method therefor are provided to display an identifier for discriminating a broadcasting channel on a broadcasting channel reproduction screen, thereby enabling a user to discriminate the channel number and channel name of currently watching broadcasting while watching broadcasting. A broadcasting receiving unit(110) receives a broadcasting channel. A memory(130) stores identifiers set for channel division. A display unit(150) reproduces a received broadcasting channel. A control unit(160) searches an identifier for dividing the broadcasting channel out of the identifiers stored in the memory and displays the identifier on a part of a broadcasting channel reproduction screen when the broadcasting channel received by the broadcasting receiving unit is reproduced.
