It is disclosed an electrolysis cell provided with a separator of high hy draulic permeability for the production of diluted hydrogen peroxide with hi gh faradic efficiency. The separator is equipped with an oxygen-fed gas-diff usion cathode and with an anode activated with a catalyst for oxygen evoluti on. The high faradic efficiency of hydrogen peroxide generation is allowed b y the dilution of product hydrogen peroxide by the anolyte crossing the perm eable separator, and by keeping the operating temperature at values below 50 °C.
