<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management system capable of controlling hens by single unit, and to provide a livestock management system and a cage. <P>SOLUTION: This information management system is provided with a tag reader 8 that communicates with a transponder 5, attached to a hen 2 inside a cage 1 via a passive antenna arranged on one surface of the cage 1 so that the distance from the transponder 5 becomes within a prescribed distance, and an active antenna 7 arranged at an automatic feeder 4 so that the distance from the passive antenna 6, at the closest proximity, approaches within a second prescribed distance which enables power feeding by electromagnetic coupling, and reads the control information of the hen 2 from the transponder 5, or writes this in the transponder 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
