PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element lowering its driving voltage, also hardly crystallizing its molecule, improving the yield in producing the organic electroluminescent element and having a long life, and an aromatic amine derivative for realizing the same. SOLUTION: This new specific structural aromatic amine derivative and the organic electroluminescent element nipping an organic thin membrane layer consisting of one or a multiple number of layers containing at least a luminescent layer between an anode and a cathode are provided with that at least one layer of the organic thin membrane layer, especially a hole-transporting layer is the organic electroluminescent layer containing the aromatic amine derivative singly or as the component of the mixture.
