PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a function of assisting photographing of an object for measure in a correct positional relation, when confirming image performance in an imaging optical system of an optical apparatus such as a digital camera or a movie camera. SOLUTION: The invention includes an imaging optical system, an imaging device which outputs as an image signal an image of an object for measure focused by the imaging optical system, position detecting means which detects a position of an imaging surface of the imaging device with respect to the object for measure by using coordinates information contained in the image signal, correction signal output means which outputs a correction signal for correcting the positional relation with respect to the object for measure based on the result of detection of the position detecting means, and display means which displays the correction signal.
