An air conditioner is provided to prevent performance deterioration of a filter cleaner kit although impurities are discharged to an upper portion of the filter cleaner kit. An air conditioner comprises a case provided with an air conditioning unit, and a filter(31) installed at the case. A filter cleaner kit moves along the filter. The filter cleaner kit has a suction chamber, which sucks impurities in the filter, and an exhaust chamber that communicates with the lower portion of the suction chamber. The exhaust chamber has an exhaust port at the upper portion thereof. A vacuum generating unit generates vacuum such that impurities in the filter are sucked into the kit case. A kit drain hose(326) has one end connected with the vacuum generating unit and the other end connected with the exhaust port of the filter cleaner kit.
