A method of producing saw timber with U- and O-like texture of wood includes following sequential operations: preparation of log for sawing (sorting, hydrothermal treatment, bathing, search for metal inclusions, peeling); supply of log into the shop; basing of log prior to sawing in parallel to the axis of log or in parallel to its generatrix; sawing the log into lumber and lumber into billets depending on method and way of sawing and existing log-sawing, cutting and accessory equipment. During basing of log/segment is performed raising or displacement of their apical (barked) end for appropriate angle (larger than the angle between generatrix and axis of log/segment and to the technically possible - maximally 90°) relative to the plane of locating and (or) axis of mill and their securing with the help of special devices of log-sawing and (or) accessory equipment. |
