A mobile terminal having a test interface is provided to test a mobile terminal according to the conventional method even when the number of an input/output socket is changed to 20 pins from the standard 24 pins, and make the mobile terminal compact and thin. A test pad(160) is installed in a PCB(Printed Circuit Board) opening region(150) exposed to an opening portion(140) formed at a battery receiving part(110) of a mobile terminal, and performs testing based on a JTAG(Joint Test Action Group). The test pad(160) is connected with one end of an FPCB(Flexible PCB)(170) and the other end of the FPCB(170) is connected to a test socket(180). The test pad(160) includes a pad for performing 7 JTAG-based testing and two pads for supplying power. The test socket(180) is a standard 24-pin socket of the TTA(Telecommunication Technology Association).
