PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter which can quickly lower an output voltage without depending on an L value of an inductor. SOLUTION: The DC-DC converter is constituted by comprising: a switch element N1 and a rectifying element N2 which are connected in series between the application end of an input voltage Vin and a grounding end; the inductor L which is connected to a connecting node between the switch element N1 and the rectifying element N2 at its one end, and connected to the draw-out end of the output voltage Vout at the other end; a smoothing capacitor C which is connected between the draw-out end of the output voltage Vout and the grounding end; and a discharging circuit N3 which is connected between the draw-out end of the output voltage Vout and the grounding end, and forms a discharging passage of the output voltage Vout not through the inductor L according to a prescribed control signal.
