<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular power generating apparatus capable of preventing electric corrosion or brittle peeling generated at a bearing. <P>SOLUTION: A surge absorbing element 14 is connected to both ends of a field coil 9 wound around a rotor 6 to permit a driving transistor 31 to be driven by a field control circuit 30.
