PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable use of contents for stationary units and for portable units mutually independently, protecting the copyright of terrestrial digital broadcast contents. SOLUTION: A terrestrial digital broadcast recording unit includes a recording section (17) in which a variety of data are recorded, a reception data processing section (14) for recording a TS including a plurality of partial TSs demodulated from a received terrestrial digital broadcast wave into the recording section (17), and an external input/output section (18) performing data input and output between the recording section (17) and the outside of the unit concerned. The external input/output section (18) extracts a predetermined partial TS from the recording section (17), and outputs the above extracted data to the outside of the unit concerned.
