PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-contact switch capable of checking contact of a contact with simple structure without considerably reforming existing structure with many of contacts. SOLUTION: The switch includes a plurality of movable contacts 5 mounted in parallel to an operation shaft 3 rotatably supported in a housing 2, and a plurality of fixed contacts 6 fixed in the housing by corresponding to the respective movable contacts, and turns on/off depending on whether the movable contacts 5 make contact with the respective corresponding fixed contacts 6 in accordance with rotation of the operation shaft 3. The switch further includes at least one movable contact 15 for check, at least one fixed contact 16 for check provided by corresponding to the movable contact for check, and a notifying means 20 connected to the movable contact 15 for check or the fixed contact 16 for check. The movable contact 15 for check makes contact with the fixed contact 16 for check in an angle position different from all of angle positions where the movable contact 5 makes contact with the fixed contact 6 in a rotating coordinate around the operation shaft, and the notifying means 20 is operated.
