PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control type water drain valve allowing even a person having small physical strength to open and close it easily and capable of maintaining watertightness easily. SOLUTION: This remote control type water drain valve device is composed of a drain hole 1 provided on a bottom face of a tank body, a valve element 2 for opening and closing the drain hole 1, a first magnet part 3 provided in the valve element 2, a second magnet part 4 arranged and fixed so as to repel the first magnet part 3 and letting the valve element 2 levitate by repulsion of magnetic force, an electromagnet part 5 arranged close to the second magnet part 4 to generate a magnetic field for demagnetizing the second magnet part 4 when carrying current, a power supply part 6 for feeding electricity to the electromagnet part 5 by proper current/voltage, and an operation part 7 for operating opening and closing of the drain hole 1 by controlling current carrying to the electromagnet part 5.
