PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition that exhibits excellent adhesive properties even under an environment wherein the composition is susceptible to thermal history. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition is used for temporary fixing, and is mainly composed of a shellac resin and comprises a fatty acid metal salt having an 8-28 C alkyl group.
