摘要 Provided is a virtual reality device using a vibrotactile unit that can enable a user to feel a sense of touch realistically. The stereo vision-based virtual reality device includes: a stereoscopic image providing unit for providing a stereoscopic image display with respect to an object and changing the stereoscopic image display according to a touch determination control signal with respect to the object; a marker for pointing a position of an object providing an interaction with respect to the object displayed by the stereoscopic image providing unit; one or more cameras for detecting a position of the marker; a control unit for receiving stereoscopic position information of the object displayed by the stereoscopic image providing unit and stereoscopic position in¬ formation of the marker detected by the cameras, determining if the marker touches the displayed object, and generating a control signal when it is determined the maker touches the displayed object; and a vibrotactile unit driven by the touch determination control signal received from the control unit when it is determined that the marker touches the displayed object. Accordingly, the user can feel a tactile sense with respect to his/her action.
