A servo drive to operate the cover for the rear luggage space, especially for a rear hatch vehicle, has a servo motor (3) removable connected to a spindle drive (4) located through two fixed bearing blocks (6) and with opposing threaded sections (7a, 7b) through movable blocks (5a, 5b) which raise and lower two pivot mounted lifting arms (8) which press under the flexible cover to raise the cover to an access settings. The ends of the lifting arms are fitted with rollers. The whole system can be unclipped from the servo motors.
